Special thanks to Just Yuu and Mi and the users of r/YuumiMains for inspiration. I do enjoy 'Get Challenger in 3 Hours!'-type guides and videos, but realistically you have to play the game a different way to get to that point first. The reason this is a 'beginners' guide is because it meant for people who don't play a lot Yuumi, don't take her seriously, teammates of Yuumis, and is generally more geared towards playing in low ELO games. Much of this guide applies to low ELO (Gold/Plat and below), where I feel it is more needed, though information here has been corroborated with Diamond+ players. As it stands, she has quite a bad reputation, and it's my hope that more people will become familiar with Yuumi and thus make more effective use of her. I hear all the time that teammates 'don't know how to play with Yuumi'. I'm an ADC a Jungle main that often plays support, and, in doing so, I've played a whole lot of Yuumi. You can also add me on Discord if you need some clarification, etc. If you have any questions after reading this guide, feel free to ask in the comments I'll do my best to answer. □ Feline Friendship (Passive) bonus range removed. □ Zoomies (E) healing scaling decreased from +35% AP to +30% AP. Now gives flat 20% move speed at all points in the game. Removed AP scaling on movement speed buff. Readded increased attack range (previously removed in 12.12b). Players can wait for the Jungler or Mid laner to gank if the enemy overextends and pressures the player and their ADC under the tower.Base health regen: 7 to 5 Feline Friendship (Passive) But, if they face a tank and/or a catcher such as Leona or Blitzcrank, they have to play slow and safe, since one mistake can cost the laning phase. If the ADC picked a strong early game champion and the enemy´s support is also an enchanter, one can play aggressively. Yuumi´s early game is her weakest phase in the game and heavily depends on the way the ADC wants to play the lane and how your opponent’s champion picks are. Our Wild Rift Yuumi guide includes the perfect game plan for the early, mid, and late game. According to her gameplay, we can break it down into three phases. Therefore, one must make sure that they understand the map side before starting to lane. Players must always remember that the Wild Rift’s Map is a mirror. We already established that Yuumi is a Support best suited, being played in the Dragon Lane. League of Legends: Wild Rift Yuumi Gameplay Tips It is also powerful against assassins, who are out for blood for your ADC. It is also very effective against enemy champions, which heals a lot.Įxhaust is recommended, when they have to play safely in the laning phase, such as facing all-in comps. One can also take Ignite for a lane where they can/want to play aggressively. Taking Heal is always useful with Yuumi since it can synergize with your healing buffing items. This leaves us with the three other optioned mentioned above. Therefore, players will not do any flashy plays or be alone in a bad situation ever the necessity of flash fades away. Yuumi is one of the champions, where taking Flash is never recommended. Players are probably wondering why Flash is not mentioned here. Therefore, taking Manaflow Band will not only help with the mana management in the early game but also makes the late game even stronger which Yuumi benefits off. Manaflow Band: Like all enchanters, Yuumi uses her mana a lot to spam its abilities.Depending on your playstyle and the enemy composition, one could switch out this rune with another one such as Second Wind. One can technically want to be attached to an ally to boost their power, therefore, taking Loyalty will make the attached ally have more defensive stats. Loyalty: Even though this rune is in the early game, it focuses on still synergizing with Yuumi´s playstyle a lot.
